The team flies together!

Memorial Day weekend has turned out to be hot, sunny and glorious. Barbara and Russell came up to stay with Alison Friday, and on Saturday while Russell spent the day at drum corps, Barbara was checked out in N222VW by instructor Jake at Doylestown. Barbara's friend Jack (formerly partners in a Piper Cub) came up and got a ride from Linda in the plane. Then, the three team mates, Alison flying, went up to Orange County NY for a lovely lunch! This is our first time all three of us flying together in the airplane since we formed a team. Now Barbara is flying us back to Doylestown, over the lakes and rolling green hills of NJ and PA, under a 4000 ft deck of scattered summer cumulus. We're going to spend the evening cooking out, and planning the trip. Over the weekend we'll wash and wax the airplane which is very grubby after a winter tied down outside, and fly some more.
